Figure Modeling: Portait

This week in Figure Modeling, we started a portrait sculpture. I now have a larger version of Naked Lady's head for reference and used that in blocking things out. I am still working out some of the kinks, which is why I have only drawn in where the hair should go. I'm not fully convinced that her skull is fully proportional:








My favorite shot of the sculpture so far.

This was actually a lot of fun when I started doing the details. The face has a lot of nooks and crannies to get lost in.
